Official release: December 10, 2021
Format: Collaborative mixtape / album

The Project

Wiz Got Wings combines Wiz Khalifa with producers Cardo Got Wings and Sledgren. Rather than entering the KOLAK archive as an incidental appearance, it belongs here as a full collaborative release involving Cardo, whose contributions extend beyond the projects he made with Larry June and Payroll Giovanni.

The album also offers another opportunity to recognize songwriting and production teams at track level. In KOLAK’s DUKEBEATZ index, “Player of the Year” and “Can’t Stay Sober” have named co-production credits. Those details are retained in the article, preserving the distinction between the credited project collaborators and the people who worked on specific records.
