Official release: July 15, 2022
Format: Collaborative album

The Project

Raised by Wolves pairs YoDogg with Cardo Got Wings, opening another collaborative branch in Cardo’s 2020s discography. The name evokes experience, adaptation and survival, an image quite different from the travel-oriented titles associated with his projects alongside Larry June. That contrast is part of why the album deserves its own entry.

Cardo appears in the KOLAK archive as both a producer and a named collaborative artist across several settings. His work with YoDogg should not be folded into the June or Payroll catalog merely because the same producer connects them. This release also establishes the first chapter of a partnership revisited in 2025 with Raised by Wolves 2.

Listening Notes

Listen to this as the starting point of YoDogg and Cardo’s two-project sequence. Their sequel is covered independently in KOLAK’s 2025 archive.

Production & Contributors

Cardo Got Wings is credited as a project-level collaborator. Individual track production is attributed only where supported by published credits or liner notes.
