The Project

Life Is Beautiful brings Larry June and 2 Chainz together with The Alchemist, connecting two rappers with distinct perspectives inside one collaborative album. The producer’s name is part of the artist billing, which makes the project more than a guest appearance or a one-off track. Its title also gives the meeting a different emotional frame from the business-forward language that often surrounds June’s solo work.

The release follows June’s Doing It for Me and his earlier joint project The Great Escape with The Alchemist. Seeing those three entries separately shows how an existing artist–producer relationship can develop into a new configuration when another leading voice enters the collaboration. For the KOLAK archive, the distinguishing feature is that all three are credited at album level.
