The Project

2 P’z in a Pod brings Jay Worthy and Larry June together with LNDN DRGS for a collaborative album whose artist lineup is central to its identity. June’s business-minded perspective meets Worthy’s established West Coast presence, while the shared production credit gives the partnership a clear musical framework.

Its position in the KOLAK chronology matters because it demonstrates that June’s collaborative catalog extends well beyond Cardo Got Wings and Harry Fraud. This is a separate West Coast meeting, not simply another solo entry with featured guests. By naming all principal collaborators, the archive makes it easier to follow the different creative relationships across the 2020s.

Listening Notes

Approach the record as a shared West Coast project. From here, move to June’s 2022 solo Spaceships on the Blade to compare a collaborative release with a project released under his own name.

Production & Contributors

Track-level production credits are attributed only when supported by music storefront metadata or album liner notes; no contributor is assumed to have worked on an entire project without appropriate credits.
